Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values that a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser storage mechanism. Both can retain information between visits, while ordinary JavaScript variables normally exist only for the current page session.
The core article pages, navigation and workshop-note tool do not require advertising or analytics cookies. The site does not include third-party advertising scripts, embedded social widgets or externally hosted fonts in those features.
Core feature storage
| Feature | Handling | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile navigation | Open/closed state held in page memory | Not intentionally retained after leaving the page |
| Scroll reveals | Element visibility observed in the current page | No visitor profile or stored reading history |
| Workshop notes | Field text processed locally in page memory | Not saved by the tool to cookies or localStorage |
| Copy / download | Uses your clipboard or creates a requested text file | Controlled by your device and subsequent actions |
Consent preferences
If a consent control is presented by the website's hosting or publishing layer, it may retain your choice in browser storage so it can remember that choice. Its controls should identify the relevant purposes and allow optional processing to be declined. Accepting a storage preference does not send your workshop notes.
Optional cookies or similar technologies that require consent must not be activated merely because you continue reading. You can remove stored site data through your browser settings; doing so may also remove a remembered consent choice and cause the control to appear again.
Browser and hosting behaviour
Your browser may cache HTML, CSS, scripts and images to load pages efficiently. It may also preserve form entries, clipboard history or downloaded files according to its own settings. These functions are distinct from the enquiry tool deliberately storing a note.
Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information for delivery and security. Server records are not the same as cookies. See the personal information policy for the broader handling of technical information and correspondence.
Your controls
Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage for showpebblewhrl.buzz. Menu names vary by browser. Clearing site data does not necessarily delete a downloaded text file, clipboard history or an email you sent separately; manage those in the relevant application.
Blocking JavaScript prevents the summary, copy and download controls from operating, but article text and ordinary links remain available. You can compose an enquiry manually in a text editor.
